- PHYSICAL AND SPORT EDUCATION accredited in compliance with GD no.376/MO 413/01.06.2016

DESCRIPTION

             The academic bachelor study program aims:

• To train specialists in bachelor studies in the field of Physical and Sport Education

• The ‚Physical and Sport Education’ intends to train specialists in physical and sport education, as well as in other directions of the human formal and non-formal motor skills, with competences in the designing, supervising and evaluating of the learning/teaching activities

• Scientific research is a priority in providing the assistance required by the knowledge and development of this field

• Involvement of the graduates in activities that are related with the physical education and sport field

• A creative and innovative conduct in the field of physical education and sport

FIELD OF SPORT AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION SCIENCE

DESCRIPTION

The program of master studies aims to provide the general theoretical, methodological and operational framework for the understanding, extrapolation and networking of the information, in order to develop the creative thinking and innovation in the field of Sport and Physical Education Science.

The master studies cater the graduates with multiple possibilities of professional manifestation, via the interdisciplinary nature of the subjects taught to the master students and the approach of the teaching method, in line with the contemporary education and compatible with the educational requirements of the European Union.

The organization of the master study program intends to continue the preparation of the cycle I students, enrolled in Sport and Motor Performance field, to promote an interdisciplinary approach and provide the specialists with a high qualification, suitable to respond to the current requirements in this sector.

The master studies provide a thorough study of the bachelor program in Kinetotherapy and Special Motor skills, the building of advanced professional knowledge while aiming:

• The complex training of the kinetotherapists for the motor disorders and the implications of the physical exercise;

• Training of the students from a methodical and scientific perspective so as they are able to conduct kinetotherapeutical recovery programs for their motor impaired patients;

• Knowledge and a correct acquisition of the manner of selection and carrying out of the kinetotherapy techniques, their inclusion and customization into kinetic programs and of recovery, along with the other physical means, for each group of motor skills affections.
